Calvin Borel in for Triple Crown as A Jockey

Mounted "Mine That Bird" on Kentucky Derby and then "Rachel" on the preakness will couple with "Mine That Bird" again on the Belmont Stakes next saturday, after owners of Rachel decided to give a vacation to the preakness winner of 2009.

Calvin Borel won the Derby aboard Mine That Bird, then jilted him for Rachel and beat the Derby winner in the Preakness by a length. Since Borel has ridden the filly to six straight wins, he said he'd be loyal if she ran in the Belmont. But now he's free for Mine That Bird and ready to compete in his first Belmont with history riding on the outcome.

The odds at Derby for "Mine that Bird" were 50-1 and may be that high with Mine that Bird having a derby win and preakness winner Rachel is out, the handicappers have high hopes with Calvin riding.
